Privacy policy
ExamCores is a static, read-only site. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter — so there is very little about you for us to hold.
What we collect
We do not ask you for personal information, and nothing on this site prompts you to submit any. We collect no names, no email addresses and no payment details. The only data generated by your visit is:
- Aggregate analytics. We use Umami to count page views and see which exam pages people find useful. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and records only aggregate, anonymised data — page URL, referrer, screen size, browser, and country derived from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored.
- Server logs. Our web server keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and debugging. They are not used to build a profile of you and are rotated automatically.
We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, social embeds or session recording, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
Cookies
ExamCores sets no cookies of its own — that is why you see no cookie banner. If you follow a link to another site, that site's own cookie and privacy policies apply from the moment you land there.
Affiliate and outbound links
Some links to books, courses and labs are affiliate links. When you click one, the merchant or affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute a later purchase to us. That happens on their side, under their privacy policy, and we receive only aggregate commission reporting — never your name, address or payment details. See the affiliate disclosure.
Third parties we rely on
- Umami Cloud — analytics, as described above.
- Our hosting provider — serves the site and keeps the server logs above.
- Affiliate networks and merchants — only when you click an affiliate link.
Children
This site is aimed at working IT professionals and students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no identifiable information about you, there is normally nothing for us to export or erase. If you believe we hold data about you and want it removed, write to hello@examcores.com and we will act on it. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct or delete personal data — the same address reaches us.
